The Story of Cinta Manis Eco Resort
A Vision Shaped by Time and Nature
Nestled among the rolling hills of Bentong, Pahang, Cinta Manis Eco Resort began with something simple yet profound respect for the land that came before.
Origins in the Orchard
The story starts with 12 acres of durian orchard, land that had quietly produced fruit for decades. When Dato Sri’ Foo first acquired this property, he saw beyond the immediate possibilities. Rather than clear and rebuild, he chose a different path one that would honor both the existing landscape and his long-term vision.
What began as 12 acres gradually expanded to 18, then eventually to 24 acres. This growth wasn’t driven by haste or market pressure, but by careful planning and deep consideration for the natural environment. Each expansion integrated seamlessly with what already existed.
Personal Leadership and Development
From concept to completion, every aspect of the resort’s development remained under Dato Sri’ Foo’s direct supervision. Working alongside his experienced team, he personally oversaw construction planning, infrastructure development, electrical systems, water management, and architectural decisions.
Rather than working from distant offices, decisions were made on-site. The terrain guided the placement of buildings. Existing trees influenced the routing of pathways. The natural flow of the land determined where facilities would emerge.
Integration of Purpose
Today’s 24-acre property reflects this thoughtful approach. The original durian and fruit orchards remain productive elements of the landscape, now complemented by resort accommodations, recreational facilities, and outdoor adventure features including team-building areas and flying fox installations.
Each addition was introduced with consideration for the existing environment. New elements enhance rather than overwhelm the natural setting.
A Living Landscape
The swimming pool follows the natural contours of the land. Walkways wind between mature trees. Guest accommodations are positioned to maximize both privacy and connection with the surrounding greenery.
Philosophy in Practice
Cinta Manis Eco Resort stands as an example of patient development a property shaped not by rapid construction timelines, but by consistent vision, careful supervision, and enduring respect for the original landscape.
The resort today offers guests more than accommodation. It provides an experience rooted in the understanding that the most meaningful places grow gradually, guided by vision that respects what came before while building thoughtfully toward the future.
Where the durian trees that started it all continue to thrive alongside the dreams they helped nurture.
